Who we are
Michael Sebag began his career as a sugar trader at André & Cie in Lausanne, Switzerland. In 1997, he joined Mekatrade S.A., a fertilizer trading company in Paris, as a trader.
In 2004, Michael moved to Geneva to open Mekatrade Switzerland, where he became a shareholder and managing director.
From 2004 to 2016, Michael expanded the business in Asia, establishing branches in Singapore, Vietnam, China, and other parts of Southeast Asia, while maintaining a strong trade flow to Latin America.
In 2016, Michael decided to establish his own trading company, Orcom S.A., based in Geneva, Switzerland.
Orcom S.A. is a boutique trading company working with well-established suppliers and receivers, with whom Michael has developed strong relationships over the years.
Orcom S.A. primarily focuses on fertilizer trading in the Mediterranean region, Europe and Brazil, as well as raw materials for the fertilizer industry, such as rock phosphate and potash.
